Think your room has the best vibe on campus? Time to prove it. The University of Toledo’s Office of Residence Life is hosting a Room Decorating Contest, running now through Tuesday, Sept. 2, to highlight the creativity and personal style of Rockets living on campus.
Students are encouraged to transform their rooms into spaces that reflect their personality, school spirit or unique aesthetic. To enter, simply snap a photo of your decorated room and submit it through the online contest submission form.
The Office of Residence Life is hosting a Room Decorating Contest, running now through Tuesday, Sept. 2, to highlight the creativity and personal style of Rockets living on campus.
From the submissions, the Office of Residence Life will select the top three rooms. Those finalists will then be shared on Instagram @ToledoResLife, where the Rocket community will have the final say by voting for their favorites on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 3 and 4. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
Prizes for the winners include:
• First place: $100 Bookstore gift card
• Second place: $75 Bookstore gift card
• Third place: $50 Bookstore gift card
The winners will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
“This contest is all about celebrating student creativity and making the residence halls feel like home,” said Hailey Curry, director of Residence Life. “We can’t wait to see how Rockets are personalizing their spaces.”
