The use of the truck, which is branded with UT logos and football images, is part of a marketing partnership between Rocket Sports Properties and K-Limited Carrier Ltd. in Toledo.

“We are very excited to be making The University of Toledo brand more visible when our football team travels around the country,” said Vice President and Athletic Director Mike O’Brien. “We want folks to know that the Rockets are in town when our truck rolls up to visiting stadiums.

“The truck is a great representation of the pride we feel for this University. We would like to thank K-Limited Carrier for their partnership in helping us transport our equipment in a first-class manner.”

“This is a great honor to be involved in this project,” said Dean Kaplan, CEO and executive vice president of K-Limited Carrier. “We feel that The University of Toledo represents our same core values.

“Simply speaking what we refer to at K-Limited is our three P’s: pride, performance and professionalism. That says it all as we move forward and embrace a long term partnership with The University of Toledo and drive Rocket Football Nation down the road.”

The tractor portion of the truck features University and athletic logos, as well as the “Toledo Tough” slogan used in the Rockets’ promotional campaign. The trailer is covered with Rocket football images of the Glass Bowl and other game action.

The truck will make its debut this Saturday at Toledo’s game at Missouri.
