Alpha Kappa Psi to hold 5K for multiple sclerosis Sept. 27

The Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional coed business fraternity at The University of Toledo, will hold its sixth annual 5K Sunday, Sept. 27. All proceeds will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system, affects more than 2.3 million worldwide.

MS run 2015The race will start at 10 a.m. at the UT Student Recreation Center. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. or purchase tickets in advance at eventbrite.com.

Registration is $15 and includes a T-shirt. Registration must be received in advance to guarantee a T-shirt.

Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity was founded in 1904 at New York University. At more than 300 campuses throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are chapters of the professional business fraternity. The University of Toledo is the Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi.

The UT chapter hosts many events, including fundraisers and community service projects.
