“Tenure and Promotion: Telling Your Story” will be held Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 3 p.m. in Health and Human Services Building Room 1711.
“Our Assistant to Associate Professor Initiative has been successful, so we are continuing these workshops this year,” Dr. Amy Thompson, provost for faculty affairs and professor of public health, said.
“‘Telling Your Story’ focuses on how faculty members should assess and assemble pertinent information about their academic lives in order to make the tenure and promotion process go more smoothly,” she said.
All interested faculty are invited to attend the monthly events. No preregistration is necessary.
Additional tenure and promotion workshops will be held throughout the academic year. The programs are co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Faculty Senate.
