In honor of LGBTQA+ History Month, The University of Toledo’s Office of Student Engagement and Connection (OSEC) is collaborating with the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) and the Catharine S. Eberly Center for Student Experience to bring a variety of engaging events throughout October.
The month is dedicated to honoring and educating the campus community about the history and achievements of the LGBTQA+ community.

Featured Events for LGBTQA+ History Month include:
• Monday, Oct. 6, 6:30 p.m. — OSEC will be hosting a screening of “Brokeback Mountain” in Doermann Theatre, including a discussion afterward led by the Department of Women and Gender Studies.
• Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. — Drag the Night Away in Thompson Student Union Room 2500. Start the evening with a fun presentation on drag culture, then dress up with others in drag style and walk the runway.
• Tuesday, Oct. 14 from 6 to 7 p.m. — Sing Out Loud and Proud. SAGA will be hosting a karaoke night that is open to all.
• Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 6 to 7 p.m. — Paint ’n’ Sip. Enjoy a night of all-inclusive colorful mocktails and painting with friends.
• Tuesday, Oct. 22, 3:30 p.m. — Spooktacular Halloween Party in Thompson Student Union Room 2500. Celebrate Halloween with SAGA including tarot readings, a costume contest and more.
