Faculty, staff and students can get a free flu shot from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at a pop-up vaccination clinic in Stranahan Hall on Main Campus.

The vaccines are free and appointments are not required, but individuals do need to complete a consent form, available at influenza.utoledo.edu, prior to getting their shot.

The University of Toledo requires the influenza vaccine for all on-campus students and employees who are not represented by a bargaining unit, as well as all healthcare workers at The University of Toledo Medical Center and University clinics.

Additional Main Campus flu shot clinics are scheduled on the following Wednesdays: Oct. 19 in Savage Arena, Oct. 26 in the Health and Human Services Building and Nov. 2 in Wolfe Hall.

Vaccines also are available throughout the months of October and November at the University Health Center on Main Campus and the outpatient pharmacy in the UTMC Medical Pavilion.

More information about the vaccine requirement, clinic hours and vaccination events is available on the University’s flu preparation website.
