The University of Toledo has chosen a new vendor for its anonymous reporting line, and users will continue to see the same high level of service.
UT will adopt the anonymous reporting service provided by Compliance Concepts, according to David Cutri, director of the Department of Internal Audit. The number will remain the same: 888.416.1308.
“While the shift will not have an effect on employees who use the service, it does provide an opportunity to remind the University community of its availability and the proper way to advance ethics concerns,” Cutri said.
He emphasized that the anonymous reporting line is not intended to replace or supersede existing reporting practices, but is designed to provide employees a place to go if contacting a supervisor or department head does not resolve the issue.
“The best place to raise a concern typically begins with your immediate supervisor or a department head. Based on the concern, other resources also are available, such as Human Resources, Legal Affairs, Information Technology and the Controller’s Office. And, as always, an employee can contact Lynn Hutt, our compliance and privacy officer, directly at 419.383.6933 should all other avenues be unavailable,” Cutri said.
