The UToledo Campus Vote Project is providing transportation to early voting this year until Friday, Oct. 30.
Transportation is offered to students who are registered to vote in Lucas County. To sign up for transportation, students should open the Google Doc Sign-Up Sheet and add their name and email to an available timeslot.
“Voter participation is a crucial part of a functioning democracy, and that includes students on college campuses everywhere,” said Dr. Michele Soliz, associate vice president of student success and inclusion. “We want to do whatever we can to help UToledo students get to the polls in the fastest and safest possible way.”
Students registered to vote in Ohio are encouraged to check their assigned polling location by visiting the Ohio Secretary of State website.
UToledo is also hosting a polling location from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, in Rocket Hall. This location has replaced the previous polling location on the Scott Park campus.
