The Office of Residence Life is hosting a grab-n-go Thanksgiving-style lunch for residential students from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, in the Horton International House Dining Hall.

The Thanksgiving lunch program is an annual tradition that began a few years ago for residential students who do not go home for the holiday break, said Ali Moore, associate director for residential marketing and summer conferences.

“We found it important to share a Thanksgiving meal with them,” Moore said. “And this year more than ever, we want to make sure our residents who are still here during Thanksgiving break have access to a warm Thanksgiving meal, as we give thanks to them for keeping our campus and themselves safe this semester.”

Daniel Boyle, associate director for Residence Life, added, “Not every student, especially this year, has the ability to be home for the Thanksgiving holiday. Due to this, the Office of Residence Life works each year to provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to those that are staying on campus during the break.”
