Three students and three employees are being recognized for their shots submitted to the International Education Week Photo Contest.
Frances Keefe, a social justice major, took first place in the student category for a photo in Haiti.
Jason Wanamaker, who is majoring in biology, placed second with his shot taken in China, and Andrea Tsatalis, also a biology major, took third place with a photo from Aegina, Greece.
In the faculty/staff category, Peter Thomas, director of experiential education in the Office of Equity, Diversity and Community Engagement, won first place with a photo taken in Shanhaiguan, China.
Julian Branch, English as a second language specialist in the American Language Institute, came in second place with her shot that was taken in Thailand, and Brad Gosche, education abroad adviser in the American Language Institute, took third place with his photo taken in Falese’ela, Western Samoa.
The winning photos are on display in the Center for International Studies and Programs, located in Snyder Memorial Building Room 1000.
The contest was part of International Education Week, which was celebrated in November.
