The University of Toledo Ritter Planetarium will present two programs in September: \u201cChasing the Ghost Particle: From the South Pole to the Edge of the Universe\u201d and \u201cOne World, One Sky: Big Bird\u2019s Adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cChasing the Ghost Particle\u201d takes viewers beneath the ice of the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica, where the IceCube Neutrino Observatory detects tiny, elusive particles that offer fascinating insights into stars and galaxies.<\/p>\n

\u201cChasing the Ghost Particle\u201d and \u201cOne World, One Sky\u201d will screen on Fridays and Saturdays in September at UToledo’s Ritter Planetarium.<\/p><\/div>\n

\u201cChasing the Ghost Particle\u201d will screen at 8:30 p.m. Fridays through Sept. 25.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne World, One Sky\u201d follows Big Bird, Elmo and a friend from the Chinese co-production of \u201cSesame Street\u201d on an imaginary trip to the moon.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne World, One Sky\u201d will screen at 1 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 26<\/p>\n

Admission to all public programs is $8 for adults and $6 for children, seniors and UToledo community members. Children ages 3 and younger are free.<\/p>\n

Parking is free for visitors who register in advance online<\/a> or by submitting their license plate information once inside the planetarium lobby. Free parking is available within 45 minutes of the beginning of planetarium shows in Area 1N.<\/p>\n
