The Rockets host the Buffalo Bulls in Glass Bowl Stadium on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in their 96th Homecoming game.<\/p><\/div>\n
On Saturday, Oct. 10, all vehicles must be moved from the following parking areas by the designated times:<\/p>\n
- \n
- Area 13<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved out of Area 13 by 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9.<\/li>\n
- Areas 3, 4 and 5<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved by 6 a.m.<\/li>\n
- Area 6, 10<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved by 6 a.m. Sections of Area 6 will be blocked off at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.<\/li>\n
- Area 8<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved out of Area 8 by 6 a.m.<\/li>\n
- Area 9<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved out of Area 9 by 3 a.m. Vehicles not moved out of Area 9 by 3 a.m. will be towed.<\/li>\n
- Area 18<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved out of Area 18 by 6 a.m. as Area 18 shifts to disabled parking.<\/li>\n
- Area 28<\/strong>: Vehicles must be moved out of Area 28 by 6 a.m. as Area 28 shifts to pass only parking.<\/li>\n
- Main Campus parking permits will not be enforced on Saturday, Oct. 10, except for disabled, metered and reserved spaces.<\/li>\n
- Regular permit enforcement resumes at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
All parties coming to campus for Saturday\u2019s annual Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming Parade are encouraged to park in Areas 1N, 1S, 2, 12 and 25.<\/p>\n
Main Campus parking permits will not be enforced on Saturday, Oct. 10, except for disabled, metered and reserved spaces.<\/p>\n
The Homecoming Parade will step off at 10 a.m. in the Old Orchard neighborhood. The parade will showcase floats, dignitaries, alumni, honorees, the Rocket Marching Band and mascots Rocky and Rocksy, with Tom Moreland, vice president and director of athletics, serving as grand marshal.<\/p>\n
Sponsored by the Blue Key National Honor Society and supported by the Office of Student Engagement and Connections and the Office of Alumni Engagement, the parade will begin at West Bancroft Street and Campus Road, proceed east to Cheltenham Road, Christie Street and Middlesex Drive, before returning to West Bancroft Street.<\/p>\n
Attendance to the Homecoming Game is free for students, while faculty, alumni and fans can\u00a0purchase tickets online<\/a>. Parade float winners will be announced during the game, along with a halftime performance by the Rocket Marching Band.<\/p>\n
