Prospective students and families are encouraged to register in advance at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utoledo.edu\/admission\/preview\/\">Preview UToledo website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreview UToledo is an opportunity for prospective students and their families to experience firsthand what makes UToledo special,\u201d said Heather Lutz, director of enrollment events and visits. \u201cFrom exploring academic programs and touring campus to connecting with current students and learning about financial aid, we want every guest to leave with a better understanding of the opportunities available here and what it means to be a Rocket.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, attendees can participate in a variety of activities, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><strong>College Academic and Resource Fairs:<\/strong> Meet representatives from UToledo&#8217;s academic colleges and learn about student organizations, campus resources and support services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Campus and Residence Hall Tours:<\/strong> Explore campus and visit Parks Tower or Honors Academic Village to experience residential life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Admission and Financial Aid Sessions:<\/strong> Learn about the application process, scholarships, financial aid and FAFSA.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Student Panel:<\/strong> Hear directly from current Rockets about their experiences, campus involvement and opportunities at UToledo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application Submission Station:<\/strong> Receive assistance and submit an application for admission.<\/li>\n<li><strong>College Facility Tours:<\/strong> Explore academic facilities and learn more about specific programs and hands-on learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Guests also can enjoy a fall-themed lunch, hot cider and seasonal treats throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Campus Community Encouraged to Welcome Future Rockets<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With prospective students and families exploring campus throughout the day, UToledo faculty, staff and students are encouraged to help create a welcoming experience.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the campus community are invited to wear their Rocket gear on Friday, Oct. 23, show their UToledo pride and extend a friendly welcome to visiting students and families.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery interaction a prospective student has on our campus helps shape their impression of UToledo,\u201d Lutz said. \u201cWhether it&#8217;s a conversation with a faculty member, a friendly greeting from a staff member or a current student sharing their experience, those moments can make a lasting difference.
