The Rockets\u2019 centerfielder has hit safely in 31 of 42 contests, including a team-high 19 multi-hit efforts. In MAC play, the Wayne, Ohio, native is hitting a league-best .435 with nine runs scored, five two-base hits, one triple and 14 RBI.<\/p>\n<p>To be nominated for the squad, a student-athlete must have a 3.3 or better cumulative GPA and be in his or her second year both competitively and academically at a school. <\/p>\n<p>For a complete list of the Capital One\/CoSIDA Academic All-District baseball teams, click <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/AcademicAllDistrict\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hammer and the MAC West Division co-leading Rockets (23-20, 12-6 MAC) return to action this weekend at fellow division frontrunner Central Michigan (24-20, 12-6 MAC) in an important league series.
