{"id":16552,"date":"2012-03-16T04:51:34","date_gmt":"2012-03-16T09:51:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utnews.utoledo.edu\/?p=16552"},"modified":"2012-03-13T15:22:49","modified_gmt":"2012-03-13T20:22:49","slug":"artist-applications-available-for-art-on-the-mall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/03_16_2012\/artist-applications-available-for-art-on-the-mall","title":{"rendered":"Artist applications available for Art on the Mall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Artists who are looking for publicity need to look no further than the 20th annual Art on the Mall at The University of Toledo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Unknown.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/Unknown.jpeg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Unknown\" width=\"112\" height=\"114\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-16680\" \/><\/a>Each year more than 100 artists use the opportunity to display their works in acrylic, glass, jewelry, mixed media, oil, pen and ink, photography, pottery, textiles, fibers and many other forms. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cArt on the Mall is a great way for artists to showcase their work to the more than 10,000 art lovers who attend each year,\u201d said Ansley Abrams-Frederick, director of alumni programming with the UT Office of Alumni Relations. \u201cThe publicity that artists can gain from this event is invaluable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Applications for artists to participate in the 2012 event, which will be held July 29, are due Monday, April 30.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for artists to participate in the 2012 event are available; click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toledoalumni.org\/s\/897\/images\/editor_documents\/al_1948_1211_aom_application_12.pdf\">here<\/a> to download the application and send to the UT Office of Alumni Relations by Monday, April 30.
