The University of Toledo will play Nevada in football in a home-and-home series beginning in 2017. <\/p>\n

\"Rocket<\/a>The Rockets will travel to Reno Sept. 9, 2017, while the Wolfpack will come to the Glass Bowl Sept. 22, 2018.<\/P><\/p>\n

Nevada, which plays in the Mountain West Conference, was 7-6 in 2012, its fifth-consecutive winning season. The Wolfpack fell to Arizona in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl, 49-48. In 2010, Nevada went 13-1 and finished the season ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press poll.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very pleased to enter into a football series with the University of Nevada,\u201d said UT Vice President and Athletic Director Mike O\u2019Brien. \u201cThe Wolfpack have an outstanding football program. We look forward to hosting Nevada in the Glass Bowl in 2018 and anticipate that many of our fans will enjoy a visit Reno in 2017 to cheer on the Rockets.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNevada has consistently been one of the outstanding programs in the Mountain West Conference for many years,\u201d Head Football Coach Matt Campbell added. \u201cWe look forward to what should be an exciting and challenging series.\u201d<\/p>\n
