Each year the Benevolent Adventurers\u2019 Strategic Headquarters organization at The University of Toledo creates a paradise for gamers called BASHCon. <\/p>\n

\"BASHCon\"<\/a>The 2014 event will have a \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d and \u201cA Game Against Evil\u201d theme for the type of storytelling that features excessive drama and action when it is held Friday through Sunday, Feb. 14-16, in the Student Union.<\/P><\/p>\n

More than 1,000 people participate annually in one of the oldest and largest student-run events on campus. Attendees are able to partake in activities such as Magic: The Gathering, which is the most played collectable card game, as well as live-action role-playing, costume play contests, board games and more. <\/p>\n

For the 29th year, BASHCon organizers also have added game developers who will bring their new products and games in progress for attendees to try out and discuss. <\/p>\n

Campus Activities and Programming also will be at the event to give students the chance to play Wii in the Trimble Lounge and host a library of 300 games to play for $1 the entire weekend. The UT E-Sports Club will run League of Legends, one of the most popular video games.<\/p>\n

An auction will allow participants to pick up games for less than retail price, and vendors will be at the event to sell games and supplies.<\/p>\n

BASHCon will run from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, Feb 14; from 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday, Feb 15; and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb 16.<\/p>\n

Admission is free for UT students, faculty and staff. It is $5 for a single day or $10 for the weekend for students of other universities with ID, and $10 for a single day or $15 for the weekend for the public.<\/p>\n
