The Ohio Aerospace Institute and The University of Toledo are hosting a one-day seminar to offer essential information for crafting competitive grant proposals for U.S. small business program funding.<\/p>\n
The seminar will be Wednesday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex.<\/p>\n
The seminar will provide up-to-date information about the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs at the Department of Defense, National Science Foundation and National Institutes of Health.<\/p>\n
Training will include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer program basics, including the latest policy changes;<\/p>\n
\u2022 Details of unique agency requirements and how to address them;<\/p>\n
\u2022 How to find the right solicitation to align with long-term objectives; <\/p>\n
\u2022 Preparing the components of your proposal for maximum impact;<\/p>\n
\u2022 And how to approach commercialization planning and connect with commercial partners.<\/p>\n
The seminar is funded in part through the Ohio Aerospace Institute\u2019s cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and is conducted by the BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting. <\/p>\n
Ohio Aerospace Institute\u2019s staff will be on hand to answer questions about their small business services and to assist with network connections.<\/p>\n
