\u2022 Thursday, Oct. 16 \u2014 Mohamed will make a guest appearance on RadioMD\u2019s HER radio program at 8 a.m. to discuss the impact of the Phase III CLEOPATRA trial, which has found that people with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer lived longer with the addition of Roche\u2019s Perjeta. Those interested can listen to the show at radiomd.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mabry<\/p><\/div>\u2022 Sunday, Oct. 19 \u2014 Mohamed will present \u201cBRCA Gene Mutation, Cancer and You: A Symposium for Women and Men.\u201d This free, public event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Temple-Congregation Shomer Emunim, 6453 Sylvania Ave., Sylvania. Attendees will learn who has an increased risk of carrying the BRCA mutation, understand the process of genetic counseling and testing, and develop strategies for talking about genetic risk. There will be light refreshments and a decorative bra silent auction. All proceeds will go to Cancer Connection of Northwest Ohio to fund services at no cost to local cancer patients and their families.
