{"id":32266,"date":"2014-01-05T03:28:41","date_gmt":"2014-01-05T08:28:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utnews.utoledo.edu\/?p=32266"},"modified":"2014-12-17T13:32:13","modified_gmt":"2014-12-17T18:32:13","slug":"associate-head-womens-basketball-coach-named-to-indiana-basketball-hall-of-fame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/01_05_2014\/associate-head-womens-basketball-coach-named-to-indiana-basketball-hall-of-fame","title":{"rendered":"Associate head women&#8217;s basketball coach named to Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Toledo Associate Head Women\u2019s Basketball Coach Vicki Hall has been named to the 2015 women\u2019s induction class for the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. <\/p>\n<p><div id=\"attachment_32267\" style=\"width: 262px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Hall.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32267\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Hall.jpg\" alt=\"Hall\" width=\"252\" height=\"380\" class=\"size-full wp-image-32267\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Hall.jpg 252w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Hall-198x300.jpg 198w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-32267\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hall<\/p><\/div>Hall and nine other individuals will be honored at the 14th annual Women\u2019s Awards Banquet Saturday, April 25.<\/p>\n<p>She was named the 1988 Indiana \u201cMiss Basketball\u201d and received the Gatorade and Naismith National Player of the Year awards after averaging 26.4 points and 11.5 rebounds as a senior at Brebeuf High School. She scored 1,755 points in high school and graduated as Indiana\u2019s seventh all-time leading girls\u2019 scorer.<\/p>\n<p>Hall then attended the University of Texas and started 112 of 117 career games and recorded 1,831 points and 887 boards. She graduated from Austin as the Longhorns\u2019 fifth all-time leading scorer and rebounder, and career leader in three-point field goals made and three-point percentage.<\/p>\n<p>Following a 16-year professional career that included the WNBA and playing in seven countries, Hall is in her sixth season in coaching at a college.
