Savage Arena is about to rock. The official lineup has been released for Rock the Arena, which will take place Saturday, March 19, and feature more than eight hours of entertainment. <\/p>\n

The all-day event will be headlined by Bret Michaels, best known as the front man for Poison as well as for his \u201cRock of Love\u201d reality show, winning \u201cCelebrity Apprentice,\u201d and an extensive solo career. <\/p>\n

\"BRET<\/a>The lineup also will feature Ratt, Warrant, Winger, Lita Ford, Firehouse, L.A. Guns and Trixter.<\/p>\n

Michaels sang lead with Poison, which is known for \u201cEvery Rose Has its Thorn,\u201d \u201cNothing but a Good Time\u201d and \u201cSomething to Believe in.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ratt raced up the charts with \u201cRound and Round,\u201d Warrant scored with \u201cCherry Pie,\u201d Winger had a hit with \u201cMiles Away,\u201d Ford\u2019s solo career included \u201cKiss Me Deadly,\u201d Firehouse was hot with \u201cLove of a Lifetime,\u201d L.A. Guns blasted \u201cNever Enough,\u201d and Trixter is turned it up with \u201cOne in a Million.\u201d <\/p>\n

Rock the Arena is part of SAVAGE LIVE, a multi-event concert series recently announced by The University of Toledo. All events will be open to the public, with discount tickets available to UT students. This will be the venue\u2019s first self-promoted concert since 2009.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal of SAVAGE LIVE is to bring music and other special events back to our facility,\u201d UT Associate Athletic Director Tony Zaworski said. \u201cSavage Arena has a long history of hosting national acts, and we are excited to once again be able to provide those kinds of opportunities for our students and our community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. March 19 and music will begin at 1:30 p.m. <\/p>\n

Tickets starting at $35.50 will go on sale Thursday, Dec. 17, and will be available online at utrockets.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Limited UT student tickets are available with UT ID for $29 (limit four) at the UT Ticket Office located in Savage Arena starting Monday, Dec. 14, at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
