Arguments set for the session include appeals from rape and murder convictions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/03_22_2016\/ohio-sixth-district-court-of-appeals-to-hold-oral-argument-at-college-of-law\/law-logo-2\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-38798\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/law-logo.png\" alt=\"law logo\" width=\"370\" height=\"100\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-38798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/law-logo.png 370w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/law-logo-300x81.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 370px) 100vw, 370px\" \/><\/a>Other cases on the docket ask the court to decide whether a trial court should have granted class certification in a class-action lawsuit and whether a seller can increase the price of goods or services to cover the cost of the commercial activity tax.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This opportunity to observe judges and lawyers in a real court session is a valuable adjunct to our advocacy curriculum,\u201d said Terrell Allen, UT legal writing professor and director of the Legal Research, Writing and Appellate Advocacy Program. \u201cWe appreciate the court&#8217;s willingness to provide this useful experience and instruction for our students.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The first session begins at 9 a.m., and the second session starts at 10:15 a.m. After adjourning, the court will host a question-and-answer session with the audience.
