{"id":42673,"date":"2016-12-08T03:58:53","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T07:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/utnews.utoledo.edu\/?p=42673"},"modified":"2016-12-07T11:31:22","modified_gmt":"2016-12-07T15:31:22","slug":"carlson-library-to-host-zen-zone-for-students-during-finals-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/12_08_2016\/carlson-library-to-host-zen-zone-for-students-during-finals-week","title":{"rendered":"Carlson Library to host &#8216;Zen Zone&#8217; for students during finals week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Carlson Library will become a \u201cZen Zone\u201d for busy, stressed-out students during finals week, Monday through Friday, Dec 12-16.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?attachment_id=42677\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-42677\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/zen-poster.jpg\" alt=\"zen poster\" width=\"504\" height=\"623\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-42677\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/zen-poster.jpg 504w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/zen-poster-243x300.jpg 243w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a>Listed by date, the following events will take place:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Monday, Dec. 12 \u2014\u00a0Nature&#8217;s Nursery demonstration at 1 p.m.\u00a0in Carlson Library Room 2004;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Tuesday, Dec. 13 \u2014\u00a0Stress-busting workshop presented by the Learning Enhancement Center at 2 p.m.  in Carlson Library Room 2010; and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Wednesday, Dec. 14 \u2014 Yoga class offered by recreational services at 1 p.m. in Carlson Library Room 1005.<\/p>\n<p>Students also can pop into Carlson Library Room 2010 all week for coloring pages, puzzles, Legos and books for leisure reading.  <\/p>\n<p>Complimentary coffee will be served in the library between 8 and 10 p.m. through finals week.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Carlson Library has extended hours. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and 10, the library will be open until midnight.
