The official lineup has been released for Rock the Arena II, which will take place Saturday, March 25, and feature more than 10 hours of entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>The all-day event will be headlined by Cheap Trick.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?attachment_id=43087\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43087\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Rock-the-Arena-II-poster.jpeg\" alt=\"rock-the-arena-ii-poster\" width=\"576\" height=\"890\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-43087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Rock-the-Arena-II-poster.jpeg 576w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Rock-the-Arena-II-poster-194x300.jpeg 194w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/a>The lineup also will feature Lou Gramm, the original lead singer of Foreigner, as well as Cinderella\u2019s Tom Keifer, Warrant, Quiet Riot, founding Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy, Jack Russell\u2019s Great White, Vixen, Autograph and Trixter. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cheap Trick hit the big time when a recording of a concert at Budokan in Tokyo was released in the United States in 1979. \u201cI Want You to Want Me,\u201d \u201cSurrender\u201d and \u201cAin\u2019t That a Shame\u201d became staples on rock radio. The band\u2019s other hits include \u201cDream Police,\u201d \u201cStop This Game,\u201d \u201cTonight It\u2019s You\u201d and \u201cThe Flame.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In April, Cheap Trick will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The current lineup is singer and guitarist Robin Zander, lead guitarist Rick Nielsen, bassist Tom Petersson and drummer Daxx Nielsen.<\/p>\n<p>Gramm sang lead on Foreigner\u2019s smashes: \u201cFeels Like the First Time,\u201d \u201cCold as Ice,\u201d \u201cLong, Long Way From Home,\u201d \u201cBlue Morning, Blue Day,\u201d \u201cDouble Vision,\u201d \u201cHot Blooded,\u201d \u201cHead Games,\u201d \u201cUrgent,\u201d \u201cJukebox Hero\u201d and \u201cSay You Will.\u201d His solo hits include \u201cMidnight Blue\u201d and \u201cJust Between You and Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Singer-guitarist Keifer was with Cinderella for \u201cNobody\u2019s Fool,\u201d \u201cDon\u2019t Know What You Got (Till It\u2019s Gone)\u201d and \u201cComing Home.\u201d Warrant scored with \u201cCherry Pie\u201d and \u201cHeaven,\u201d and Quiet Riot is remembered for \u201cBang Your Head (Mental Health)\u201d and \u201cCum on Feel the Noize.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pearcy, singer-songwriter and guitarist, fronted Ratt and sang \u201cRound and Round\u201d and \u201cLay It Down.\u201d\u00a0Russell, founding member of Great White, was the vocalist on \u201cOnce Bitten, Twice Shy\u201d and \u201cRock Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vixen found success with \u201cEdge of a Broken Heart,\u201d Autograph was on the airwaves with \u201cTurn Up the Radio,\u201d and Trixter demanded attention with \u201cGive it to Me Good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s inaugural Rock the Arena sold out in less than three weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRock the Arena brings a festival atmosphere indoors,\u201d said Chris Thompson, UT treasurer. \u201cIn fact, it could be an even more enjoyable experience in some instances since everything is on one stage in one day.
