If so, the UT College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is offering the Pharmacy Summer Camp, sponsored by Walgreens, or the Shimazu Pharmaceutical Science Camp, sponsored by Shimadzu and supported by Amway. <\/p>\n<p>The camps are targeted at juniors, but both sophomores and seniors may apply. The focus of the camps is to teach high school students more about their potential occupations through interactive and hands-on activities. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?attachment_id=44049\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-44049\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_PharmD_PROOF-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"504\" height=\"602\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-44049\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_PharmD_PROOF-1.jpg 504w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_PharmD_PROOF-1-251x300.jpg 251w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a>\u201cWe hope students learn about careers in pharmacy, and we encourage them to follow through on their goals,\u201d said Jos\u00e9 Trevi\u00f1o, director of transfer services and recruitment for the College of Pharmacy. \u201cThe College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences currently employs three faculty members who started their careers by attending our pharmacy camps.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Programming for the four-day camps includes professional job shadowing, pharmaceutical science and formulation labs, faculty presentations, and student and career panels. When they are not learning about pharmacy, campers can spend their free time at the Student Recreation Center and touring the UT campus with camp counselors, who are pharmacy students. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?attachment_id=44051\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-44051\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_Science-Camp-PROOF-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"504\" height=\"574\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-44051\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_Science-Camp-PROOF-1.jpg 504w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/pharmacy-summer-camp-PH-540_Science-Camp-PROOF-1-263x300.jpg 263w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 504px) 100vw, 504px\" \/><\/a>The summer camp $400 fee covers all room and meal expenses, a T-shirt and backpack, as well as the camp programming.
