Carlson Library, the Canaday Center for Special Collections and The Andersons will host a film night Wednesday, March 28,\u00a0at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n

The free, public event is in celebration of the Canaday Center\u2019s current exhibition,\u00a0\u201cPreserving Yesterday for Tomorrow: The Best of the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections.\u201d <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cGrain: The Harold Anderson Story\u201d will be shown in Carlson Library Room 1005.<\/p>\n

This documentary was made using resources from the archives of the Canaday Center and tells the story of The Andersons Inc.’s growth from a single grain elevator to a large agribusiness.<\/p>\n

The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a display of historical artifacts and documents from The Andersons\u2019 collection. \u201cGrain\u201d will be shown at 6:30 p.m. after an introduction by Kay Anderson, documentary producer.<\/p>\n

\u201cPreserving Yesterday for Tomorrow: The Best of the Ward M. Canaday Center for Special Collections\u201d features unique historical treasures like the original 1837 charter for the city of Toledo, an early Rocky the Rocket mascot costume, and artifacts from Toledo businesses, including Libbey-Owens-Ford and The Andersons. <\/p>\n

The free, public exhibit is on display Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 27.<\/p>\n
