Stop by Rocket Recharge Wednesday, May 16.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStress and burnout can have profound effects on one\u2019s overall well-being. We want to help our employees recharge their wellness by offering a variety of activities that are shown to aid in stress relief and relaxation,\u201d Wendy Davis, associate vice president and chief human resources officer, said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?attachment_id=49727\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-49727\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Rocket-Recharge.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"709\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-49727\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Rocket-Recharge.jpg 540w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Rocket-Recharge-228x300.jpg 228w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a>Rocket Recharge will include a couple art projects, a mindfulness presentation, open meditation sitting, yoga, herb gardening, dog petting and more.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>The event will take place on Centennial\u00a0Mall from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>In case of\u00a0inclement weather,\u00a0the event will move to the Center for Health and Successful Living, in Health and Human Services Building Room 1100.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe invite everyone to stop out for as long as they can and take advantage of the free activities and healthy snacks,\u201d Davis said. \u201cSome of the activities require registration, so please visit the Rocket Wellness website to make sure you don\u2019t miss your chance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For more information and to register for the free event, click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.utoledo.edu\/offices\/rocketwellness\/coming-events.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All UT employees are invited to come unwind and recharge their minds and bodies after the long academic year.
