Songs will be performed a cappella, unless the singer provides his or her own accompanist. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/09_04_2018\/glass-city-singers-to-hold-auditions\/glass-city-singers\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-51088\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Glass-City-Singers.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"206\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-51088\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Glass-City-Singers.png 375w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Glass-City-Singers-300x165.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/a>Tryouts also will include basic vocalization and sight singing. <\/p>\n<p>Members will be selected from the highest quality high school, collegiate and professional singers in the Toledo area.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Brad Pierson, UT assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, founded the group in 2017.
