A total of 50 members of the faculty were approved for tenure and promotion by The University of Toledo Board of Trustees at its April meeting.<\/p>\n
There were 19 faculty members approved for tenure and promotion and another 31 who were promoted to professor or associate professor.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve implemented a number of workshops to provide support for faculty members to advance their careers at UToledo, and I\u2019m excited to see the results of those efforts as these impressive educators and researchers achieve this milestone,\u201d said Dr. Karen Bjorkman, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.<\/p>\n
