{"id":69856,"date":"2021-11-12T03:40:40","date_gmt":"2021-11-12T07:40:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=69856"},"modified":"2021-11-10T18:00:18","modified_gmt":"2021-11-10T22:00:18","slug":"audition-for-theatre-production-of-spelling-bee-musical-nov-15-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/11_12_2021\/audition-for-theatre-production-of-spelling-bee-musical-nov-15-16","title":{"rendered":"Audition for Theatre Production of \u2018Spelling Bee\u2019 Musical Nov. 15-16"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film is hosting auditions next week for its spring production of the musical \u201cThe 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Auditions are open to all UToledo students and community members from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 15 and 16, in the Center for Performing Arts. Sign-up sheets and audition forms will be posted on the window of the Department of Theatre and Film Office in the Center for Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Auditionees are invited to prepare a 60-second monologue from a contemporary play and a 16-bar musical selection. An accompanist will be provided but auditionees are asked to bring their own sheet music.
