The University of Toledo is offering faculty, staff and students the opportunity to schedule a free rapid COVID-19 test ahead of Thanksgiving break when they may be visiting with loved ones.<\/p>\n
To request an appointment, individuals should visit the University\u2019s online scheduling portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n Testing is being offered on Main Campus and Health Science Campus. Appointments are currently available through Friday, Nov. 19. Additional appointment times will be added next week.<\/p>\n The antigen-based tests, performed in partnership with The University of Toledo Medical Center and collected via a shallow nasal swab, will provide results in approximately 30 minutes.<\/p>\n This testing is for asymptomatic individuals only. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should request a test<\/a> at the University Health Center on Main Campus or UTMC.<\/p>\n Unvaccinated students and employees \u2014 including those who have been granted an exemption \u2014 are already required to participate in the University\u2019s surveillance COVID-19 testing process at least once per week and use the same online scheduling portal.<\/p>\n
