A trio of students in the 2021 Undergraduate Summer Research and Creative Activity Program presented their research posters at a pair of pregame football parties at the Koester Alumni Pavilion this fall.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 On Sept. 18, Daria Sysoeva, from the College of Arts and Letters, presented her research titled \u201cImmigration, Female Experience and Family: The Story Told in Poems\u201d;<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 On Oct. 23, Chinenye Ezema, College of Pharmacy, presented her research titled \u201cThe Toxic Effects of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine and Methylone”; and<\/p>\n

Daria Sysoeva is one of three students in the 2021 Undergraduate Summer Research and Creative Activity Program to share her work.<\/p><\/div>\n

\u2022\u00a0 On Oct. 23, Derek Kluczynski, from the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, presented his research titled \u201cSperm Centriole Defects May be Associated with Male Subfertility\u201d<\/p>\n

The students\u2019 presentations served as both a showcase of their research work and creative activities and as a network opportunity with UToledo alumni.<\/p>\n

“Sharing my work at UToledo’s alumni pavilion allowed me to learn much more about my research topic,\u201d Ezema said. \u201cMeeting both retired and current healthcare specialists to discuss the toxic effects of novel psychoactive substances, such as cathinones, was a great experience overall. I am thankful to the Office of Undergraduate Research for this opportunity.”<\/p>\n
