{"id":71293,"date":"2022-02-02T03:00:04","date_gmt":"2022-02-02T07:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=71293"},"modified":"2022-01-31T17:51:57","modified_gmt":"2022-01-31T21:51:57","slug":"womens-and-gender-studies-to-host-feb-8-student-research-showcase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/02_02_2022\/womens-and-gender-studies-to-host-feb-8-student-research-showcase","title":{"rendered":"Women\u2019s and Gender Studies to Host Feb. 8 Student Research Showcase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The UToledo Department of Women\u2019s and Gender Studies will host a student research showcase on Tuesday, Feb. 8, to highlight two students\u2019 projects to the greater UToledo community.<\/p>\n<p>Geneva Krieger, a senior studying women\u2019s and gender studies, will present her project titled \u201cHealthcare: A Content Analysis of Women in Benzodiazepine Advertisements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kylee Gregg, a senior studying social work with a minor in women\u2019s and gender studies, will present her project titled <em>\u201c<\/em>Death Becomes Her: An Exploration into Woman Funeral Directors and Embalmers\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at University Hall Room 4280 and livestreamed via Webex.
