{"id":73710,"date":"2022-05-24T14:00:19","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T18:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=73710"},"modified":"2022-05-24T14:00:19","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T18:00:19","slug":"university-suspending-covid-19-surveillance-testing-for-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/05_24_2022\/university-suspending-covid-19-surveillance-testing-for-summer","title":{"rendered":"University Suspending COVID-19 Surveillance Testing for Summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Toledo is suspending its random COVID-19 surveillance testing program during the summer months, though on-campus COVID-19 testing for faculty, staff and students will continue to be available.<\/p>\n<p>Asymptomatic students and employees, including those who have been exposed to someone with the virus but have not developed symptoms, can request a free rapid COVID-19 test through the University\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/covid19test.utoledo.edu\/\">online scheduling portal<\/a>, beginning Monday, June 6.<\/p>\n<p>A limited number of at-home COVID-19 antigen tests also will be available at no cost to asymptomatic students and employees at the University Health Center during regular business hours. On Health Science Campus, at-home tests are available to students and employees at the Morse Fitness Center.<\/p>\n<p>Students and employees who are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 have access to on-demand testing at the University Health Center on Main Campus from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
