{"id":74727,"date":"2022-08-11T03:00:05","date_gmt":"2022-08-11T07:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=74727"},"modified":"2022-08-11T09:08:13","modified_gmt":"2022-08-11T13:08:13","slug":"student-semester-parking-permits-on-sale-aug-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/08_11_2022\/student-semester-parking-permits-on-sale-aug-12","title":{"rendered":"Student Semester Parking Permits on Sale Aug. 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Semester parking permits for students will be available for purchase beginning Friday, Aug. 12, in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/utoledo.nupark.com\/v2\/Portal\/Login?ReturnUrl=%2Fv2%2Fportal\">ParkUToledo parking portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Student permits are $133 per semester, with the option to purchase a fall\/spring semester permit for $266. Daily and monthly permits also are available for purchase in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/utoledo.nupark.com\/v2\/Portal\/Login\">parking portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Students can pay for parking permits by credit card or electronic check.<\/p>\n<p>From Aug. 20-28, ParkUToledo will not be enforcing campus parking permits as students move into their residence halls; however, all other violations \u2014 parking in reserved, disabled, metered, patient and no overnight parking areas \u2014 will be enforced. Vehicles must be parked in lined spaces or a marked 15-minute parking zone.<\/p>\n<p>Regular permit enforcement hours will resume on Monday, Aug. 29.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder to students:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Your license plate serves as your permit. If you change vehicles, update your plate information in the <a href=\"https:\/\/utoledo.nupark.com\/v2\/Portal\/Login\">parking portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Only park in spaces designated for your specific permit; each parking area has signs indicating which permits are valid.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Park with your license plate facing the drive aisle. If you don\u2019t have a front license plate, you can\u2019t pull through or back into a parking space.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 All vehicles must be parked in a lined parking space.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Spaces marked with gold\/yellow markings are reserved for faculty and staff \u201cA\u201d permits.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Spaces marked with green markings are reserved for patient parking.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 Family, friends and additional visitors can park in most areas by using the ParkMobile App. Hourly parking also is available for purchase at metered spots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Parking permits for faculty and staff for the 2022-23 academic year are available now. An \u201cA\u201d annual permit is $259 for the upcoming academic year and \u201cA\u201d semester permit is available for $86.<\/p>\n<p>For those enrolled in payroll deduction for an annual permit, no action is required to renew your permit for the upcoming year.
