Schmakel Homecoming Parade is quickly approaching and so is the deadline to join the parade.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsored by the Blue Key National Honor Society, the Homecoming Parade is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. This year\u2019s theme, Rockets Flashback, is part of the University\u2019s yearlong sesquicentennial celebration.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Homecoming-2022-SIDE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-75133\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Homecoming-2022-SIDE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Homecoming-2022-SIDE.jpg 748w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Homecoming-2022-SIDE-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>UToledo students who are part of an organization can participate in the Homecoming Parade by walking, riding in a car or truck, or having a float in the parade. For organizations interested in participating, fill out the &#8220;2022 Homecoming Parade Registration Form&#8221; available via <a href=\"https:\/\/invonet.utoledo.edu\/submitter\/form\/collectsubmitteridentity\/fba2c17c-4e6a-486c-bac5-777587c9850c\">Invonet<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Students not affiliated with an organization can participate in the Homecoming Parade by joining the General Student Section.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHomecoming is one of UT&#8217;s oldest and most beloved traditions.
