Construction began in 2020 and was completed this fall.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Axon-Opening-NEW-SIDE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-76550\" src=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Axon-Opening-NEW-SIDE.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Axon-Opening-NEW-SIDE.jpg 748w, https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Axon-Opening-NEW-SIDE-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a>Among the renovations, the project added sound panels to the digital lab, redesigned a studio space and converted two small office spaces to spaces for a 3D printer and VR and sound.
