{"id":79356,"date":"2023-04-14T03:00:10","date_gmt":"2023-04-14T07:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=79356"},"modified":"2023-04-13T15:02:12","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T19:02:12","slug":"12-rockets-named-to-2023-indoor-track-and-field-academic-all-mac-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/04_14_2023\/12-rockets-named-to-2023-indoor-track-and-field-academic-all-mac-team","title":{"rendered":"12 Rockets Named to 2023 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Toledo women&#8217;s\u00a0track and field team saw 12 student-athletes earn Academic All-MAC honors for the 2023 Indoor Track &amp; Field season, the league recently announced.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the way for the Rockets in the classroom\u00a0for the second consecutive season is media communications major\u00a0Krystal Clark\u00a0with a perfect 4.0 GPA.\u00a0Lou Trois,\u00a0Emily Vining and\u00a0Madeline Vining\u00a0also earned Academic All-MAC honors in cross country. Sophomores\u00a0Mayson Bates,\u00a0Amara Okpalaoka, and\u00a0Jimesha Ragland\u00a0are all receiving the honor for the first time in their career.<\/p>\n<p>The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics.
