Toledo men’s tennis senior\u00a0Luis Kleinschnitz\u00a0and junior\u00a0Pawit Sornlaksup\u00a0earned a spot on the Academic All-MAC team, the league announced.<\/p>\n

This is the first Academic All-MAC honor for both Rockets.<\/p>\n

The 2023 MAC Player of the Year, Sornlaksup earned MAC Scholar-Athlete of the Week honors twice this season and was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2023 Academic All-District Men’s Tennis Team.<\/p>\n

Toledo\u00a0earned a program-best 3.679 GPA for the 2023 spring semester, with one President’s List recipient, six Dean’s List honorees and two who made Honor Roll.<\/p>\n

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete not in their first year on the team must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\"Promotional<\/a>
