{"id":83892,"date":"2024-01-10T03:00:25","date_gmt":"2024-01-10T07:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=83892"},"modified":"2024-01-09T12:43:56","modified_gmt":"2024-01-09T16:43:56","slug":"employees-encouraged-to-receive-w-2-tax-forms-electronically-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/01_10_2024\/employees-encouraged-to-receive-w-2-tax-forms-electronically-2","title":{"rendered":"Employees Encouraged to Receive W-2 Tax Forms Electronically"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To help bolster The University of Toledo\u2019s \u201cGo Green\u201d initiative, employees can receive their 2023 W-2 tax form online in the Employee Tab in the myUT portal.<\/p>\n<p>W-2s will be available online beginning Friday, Jan. 26; however, electronic consent must be provided by 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, for those who want to receive their W-2 online.<\/p>\n<p>Employees who choose to receive their W-2 electronically can log in to the <a href=\"http:\/\/myut.utoledo.edu\/\">myUT portal<\/a> and, using the Employee Tab, select Tax Forms and then choose Electronic IRS Forms Consent.<\/p>\n<p>Once an employee provides consent, their W-2 will only be available online for viewing and printing.
