The Judith Herb College of Education Office of the Dean\/Office of Student Services took first-place honors in the Homecoming Office Decorating Competition and will be receiving the competition\u2019s traveling trophy.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s theme was \u201cWelcome to the Jungle,\u201d a tribute to the untamed spirit that defines every Rocket, and the competition was judged by the Campus Activities and Programming Board, with winners announced during Saturday\u2019s Homecoming game.<\/p>\n

The Judith Herb College of Education Office of the Dean\/Office of Student Services won first place in this year’s Homecoming Office Decorating Competition.<\/p><\/div>\n

A total of 16 offices from across the University participated in this year\u2019s competition, with second place awarded to the Center for Advocacy and Student Experience, and a third-place tie between the Office of Marketing & Communications and Office of Residence Life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Campus Activities and Programming Board was excited to see so much interest in participating in the office decorating competition from offices,\u201d said Bailey Mitchell, president of the Campus Activities and Programming Board. \u201cThe offices went above and beyond for this year\u2019s theme, \u2018Welcome to the Jungle,\u2019 that it was extremely difficult for our judges to decide on the winners this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are happy that we could provide this opportunity for faculty and staff to join in the fun of the homecoming celebration and create exciting spaces for the student body.\u201d<\/p>\n

The winning office will be receiving the traveling trophy.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s first-place winner was The University of Toledo Police Department.<\/p>\n
