The University of Toledo Board of Trustees has formed a Presidential Search Committee as the next step in the process for identifying the University\u2019s next permanent president.<\/p>\n

UToledo Board of Trustees Chair Patrick J. Kenney announced today the Presidential Search Committee that will include all trustees, members of the Presidential Profile Committee and external stakeholders that will be responsible for reviewing candidates and selecting UToledo\u2019s next leader.<\/p>\n

Kenney previously announced the formation of a Presidential Profile Committee composed of internal and external stakeholders that is working to draft the position profile for the University\u2019s 19th president.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appreciate the members of the Presidential Profile Committee for their work in creating the position profile and look forward to the efforts of the Presidential Search Committee in selecting UToledo\u2019s next leader,\u201d Kenney said. \u201cThis presidential search is important for both the University and for our greater Toledo community and we are thankful to have such thoughtful input throughout the process.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kenney will co-chair the Presidential Search Committee along with UToledo Trustee Stephen P. Ciucci.<\/p>\n

Education Executives, the firm the UToledo Board of Trustees has selected to assist with the search, will provide counsel for the Presidential Search Committee.<\/p>\n

The Board of Trustees previously announced its goal is to have UToledo\u2019s next permanent president identified and in place prior to the start of next academic year.<\/p>\n
