Demolition of two residence halls and one academic office building has begun at The University of Toledo.<\/p>\n

Academic House, International House and Sullivan Hall are all slated for demolition this summer in line with the University\u2019s Campus Master Plan, which encompasses construction and renovation proposals aimed at reinvigorating the core of Main Campus around Centennial Mall and investing in both clinical and student spaces on Health Science Campus.<\/p>\n

Neither Academic House nor International House housed students during the most recent academic year, when the University reopened the renovated Presidents Hall.<\/p>\n

Klumm Brothers are heading the demolition project estimated at $2 million. It is expected to be completed by the beginning of fall semester, with students returning to greenspace where the buildings are currently located along West Rocket Drive.<\/p>\n
