Prior to <a href=\"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/11_07_2024\/former-ceo-returns-to-lead-medical-center\">returning to UTMC as interim CEO<\/a>, he served as president of rural market for Bon Secours Mercy Health and interim president of Mercy St. Anne Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Barbee previously led UTMC from 2016 to 2020. Prior to serving as CEO, he was UTMC\u2019s vice president of clinical services and chief operating officer.
