Three University of Toledo faculty members have successfully completed the Mid-American Conference Academic Leadership Development Program (ALDP). The program is designed to identify, develop, prepare and advance academic leaders from across the 12 MAC institutions.<\/p>\n

The 2025 UToledo graduates are:<\/p>\n

Dr. Carmen Cioc, an associate professor in the Department of Engineering Technology in the College of Engineering;<\/p>\n

Jodi Jameson, an associate professor and nursing librarian in University Libraries; and<\/p>\n

Dr. Jiayong Liu, an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.<\/p>\n

Participants in the ALDP engage in a yearlong series of campus-based and MAC-wide activities focused on leadership in higher education, including intensive workshops, mentoring and cross-institutional collaboration.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis program provides an incredible opportunity for faculty to reflect on their leadership goals and develop the skills needed to shape the future of higher education,\u201d said Dr. Jeanne Kusina, UToledo\u2019s institutional liaison to the MAC ALDP. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to support the growth of these emerging leaders and look forward to seeing the impact they will have across our University and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n

Established in 2017, the MAC ALDP promotes leadership development and networking among faculty across the MAC and supports the development of a diverse pipeline of future academic administrators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
