{"id":93018,"date":"2025-05-29T03:00:15","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T07:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=93018"},"modified":"2025-05-28T15:10:55","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T19:10:55","slug":"portion-of-douglas-road-to-close-friday-for-bridge-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/05_29_2025\/portion-of-douglas-road-to-close-friday-for-bridge-work","title":{"rendered":"Portion of Douglas Road to Close Friday for Bridge Work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Douglas Road will be closed Friday between University Hills Boulevard and East Rocket Drive as contractors pour the concrete decking on The University of Toledo\u2019s new pedestrian bridge.<\/p>\n<p>The closure is expected to last from 6 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. A detour will be posted.<\/p>\n<p>The University broke ground on the $3.4 million project in July and installed the bridge span over Douglas Road two weeks ago.
