{"id":93131,"date":"2025-06-10T03:20:35","date_gmt":"2025-06-10T07:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=93131"},"modified":"2025-06-09T15:03:36","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T19:03:36","slug":"toledo-places-12-student-athletes-on-academic-all-mac-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/06_10_2025\/toledo-places-12-student-athletes-on-academic-all-mac-team","title":{"rendered":"Toledo Places 12 Student-Athletes on Academic All-MAC Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Twelve student-athletes from the 2025 Toledo softball team were named to the Academic All-MAC squad, the league office recently announced.\u00a0Eliza Maloney\u00a0and\u00a0Grace O&#8217;Malley\u00a0led the Rockets with perfect 4.0 GPAs.<\/p>\n<p>Senior second baseman\u00a0Sidney Griffith\u00a0earned the third Academic All-MAC honor of her career while\u00a0Maris Barbato,\u00a0Sophia Knight, O&#8217;Malley and\u00a0Kendra VanderLugt\u00a0brought home the second honor of their careers.\u00a0Jenna Bloomfield,\u00a0Eli Enriquez,\u00a0Kylee Graham,\u00a0Eliza Maloney,\u00a0Madison McKay,\u00a0Reis Sjoholm\u00a0and\u00a0Mady Yackee\u00a0wee first-time honorees.<\/p>\n<p>Enriquez, Griffith, Maloney, McKay and VanderLugt also earned College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.<\/p>\n<p>The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled athletically and academically.
