The University of Toledo and the Mid-American Conference recently announced kickoff times and TV designations for six games for the Rockets’ 2025 football season.<\/p>\n
The Rockets open the season at SEC foe Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 30, in a 12:45 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network. Toledo then returns to the Glass City for its home opener, “The Biggest Party in Toledo,” vs. Western Kentucky in a 7 p.m. clash on Saturday, Sept. 6 (ESPN+).<\/p>\n

Other game times were announced for a home contest vs Morgan State on Sept. 13 (3:30 p.m.\/ESPN+) and a key MAC clash at Miami on Nov. 12 (7 p.m.\/TV TBA). A home game vs. Northern Illinois on Nov. 5 will be played at 7 or 8 p.m., depending on TV assignment. Toledo’s contest at Washington State on Oct. 25 was previously announced to kick at 3:30 p.m. on the CW Network.<\/p>\n
Game times and TV assignments will be announced later for the remaining games.<\/p>\n
The Rockets return four All-MAC players from last season’s 8-5 squad, plus senior quarterback\u00a0Tucker Gleason, who threw for 2,808 yards and 24 TDs last season. Gleason’s top target was first-team All-MAC wide receiver Junior Vandeross, who led Toledo with 85 receptions last year. Vandeross was also named GameAbove Sports Bowl MVP following a 12-reception, 194-yard performance in the Rockets’ 48-46 six-overtime win vs. Pitt.<\/p>\n
