{"id":93228,"date":"2025-06-17T03:20:00","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T07:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/?p=93228"},"modified":"2025-06-18T12:01:27","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T16:01:27","slug":"baseball-earns-10-selections-on-academic-all-mac-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.utoledo.edu\/index.php\/06_17_2025\/baseball-earns-10-selections-on-academic-all-mac-team","title":{"rendered":"Baseball Earns 10 Selections on Academic All-MAC Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Toledo baseball team has earned 10 selections on the Academic All-MAC Team, the league office announced Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Toledo&#8217;s selections are seniors\u00a0Kaleb Herbert,\u00a0Caden Konczak,\u00a0Brennan McCune\u00a0and\u00a0Yianni Skeriotis, juniors\u00a0Jackson Bergman\u00a0and\u00a0Nathan Leininger, redshirt sophomores\u00a0Ryan Hughes\u00a0and\u00a0Troy Sudbrook\u00a0and sophomores\u00a0Charlie Scholvin\u00a0and\u00a0Jacob Tabor.<\/p>\n<p>Konczak earned his third Academic All-MAC selection, Bergman, Hughes and Skeriotis their second, and Herbert, Leininger, McCune, Scholvin, Sudbrook and Tabor took their first selections. All of Toledo&#8217;s CSC Academic All-District picks in Bergman, Konczak, Scholvin, Sudbrook and Tabor also were selected as Academic All-MAC.<\/p>\n<p>To qualify, players must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA with at least a sophomore academic standing and play in at least 50% of a team&#8217;s games.<\/p>\n<p>Toledo continued its strong run on the Academic All-MAC charts, earning at least 10 selections for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
