The Division of Student Affairs is hosting \u201cRocket Thrift Shop,\u201d an event for students to \u201cshop\u201d for free gently used clothing, shoes, housewares and more. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Thompson Student Union Ingman Room.<\/p>\n

We are accepting donations of new or gently used clothing (clean and free of stains and rips), housewares, shoes, books, children\u2019s items, hangers, reusable bags and more.<\/p>\n

The Rocket Thrift Shop event for students to \u201cshop\u201d for free, gently used clothing, shoes, housewares and more is Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Thompson Student Union Ingman Room.<\/p><\/div>\n

Please refrain from donating under garments, bathing suits, furniture, electronics and tools.<\/p>\n

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 Collier Building Main Lobby on Health Science Campus<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 Mulford Library First Floor (Student Service Center) on Health Science Campus<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 Rocket Hall Room 1300 (University College)<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 Snyder Memorial Room 1000 (Center of International Studies and Programs)<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0 Thompson Student Union Room 2518 (Center for Advocacy and Student Experience)<\/p>\n

\u201cI always get so excited for the Rocket Thrift Shop,\u201d said Zoe Bacorn, a sophomore in the Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences and Education. \u201cIt is a game-changer for my closet and my wallet. As a student, it’s where I can find all the essentials: from business casual clothes for mock interviews, to pots and pans for my late-night kitchen runs. Not only is it at no cost, but it’s stocked by our own Toledo community. I love the feeling of giving away my old items and giving someone else’s items a second chance at life.\u201d<\/p>\n

For community convenience we will be offering two specific Drive Through Drop-Off days, where you can pull up and we will grab donations:<\/p>\n
